Impossible.

But, I wonder if his Wife and kids now claim Aussie citizenship? If not, I'd be far more ruthless than Dutton and I'd send his Wife and his kids back to the UK....and if the UK let's him in with them, that's on them.  If they don't, that too is on them.

Tough titties.

This moron has escaped Justice.

But, I suspect all this has already been worked out at high levels even into the Office of Albanese, conveniently.

I hope our Media probes deep.  I'll bet I'm right.

This stinks.

Same as David Hicks who was holding a rifle ready to leave from the airport in Afghanistan. There was stinking, rotten, government interference to get him away from the United States of Afghanistan. He should have been executed.

Latest from Reuters:

Why is Julian Assange flying to the remote Pacific island of Saipan?

By Lewis Jackson

June 25, 20246:12 PM GMT+10 Updated 2 hours ago

SYDNEY, June 25 (Reuters) - Better known for its sandy beaches and Second World War wrecks, the tropical Pacific island of Saipan will soon host the final act of Julian Assange's 14-year legal odyssey.
Assange is en route to a courtroom on the island where he is expected to plead guilty on Wednesday to a single criminal charge in a plea deal that will see him walk free and return home to Australia.
WHERE IS SAIPAN?
Saipan is the capital of the Northern Mariana Islands (NMI), a U.S. commonwealth in the western Pacific which begins roughly 70 km (44 miles) north of Guam and stretches across 14 islands.
Like territories such as Guam or Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands are part of the U.S. without the full status of a state.
The roughly 51,000 residents are U.S. citizens but cannot vote in presidential elections. Crucially, some, like Saipan, also host U.S. district courts.
Assange will appear in court at 9 a.m. local time on Wednesday (2300 GMT Tuesday)

The flight will cost Julian A$750,000.
Why couldn't he go on a commercial flight?

https://www.theguardian.com/media/live/2024/jun/25/julian-assange-prison-release...

She confirmed that they intend to launch a fundraising campaign, after chartering a flight to take him from the UK to Australia via Thailand and the Northern Mariana Islands had cost $500,000 (£393k / $750k AUD). She told Reuters:

It’s Australian policy that he will have to pay his own return flight so he’s had to charter a flight and so he will basically be in debt when he lands in Canberra. We’re going to launch an emergency fund to try to get this money so that we can pay the Australian government back for his freedom flight.

Anyone who gives one cent is an idiot.  This is now blatant grifting.

Maybe Albanese will write out a personal cheque to cover the lot, ey?

'Freedom Flight.'

And what is she saying...we have paid and they hope to pay it back to us by these means???????????
