Good.  No kissing the ground.  Still...the defiant raised fist.  Convicted felon.

More like Mandela than a pope, then!

Yeah, right.  He'll be the next Aussie PM no doubt.

Where is his step-father, Assange.

Perhaps deceased?

Great interview by ABC's 7.30 Sarah Ferguson, of MAGA- darling MT Greene; Marjorie has supported Assange for years because he "exposed lies of government".

The interview went well until Sarah attempted to change the subject to Trump.... the two ladies began sparring like prize fighters...Greene was feisty and held up well.

O dear, what confused bunnies we all are.

I might head to China, hope the government knows what it is doing, and shut up about politics.....

If you think Ferguson had her on to talk sweet, warm and cuddly about Assange, you might like a big steel bridge I have for sale in Sydney.

Green is a sitting duck.  Easy meat, you just have to offer her the right lure, as Ferguson did, and she came right in to the Interview, thinking Ferguson was a tame Aussie pussy.  She must not have seen Ferguson rip the arse out of "The Kraken."

Did it not also cross your mind that Green was espousing, lauding, championing the role of the media (Assange) in exposing stuff, yet when it came to her being asked questions about what she had been up to in the past and present, she sought to restrict the media?

I'll be posting that Interview on the Yank Forum as soon as iView has it up.

FMD.

US treason is (1) “levying war” against the United States; or (2) “adhering to [the] enemies [of the United States], giving them aid and comfort.”
Trump gave Europe to Putin.

You know, the reason why the United States were over in Iraq was because of the bs 9/11. The Bush Administration allowed a series of terrorist attacks to take place. This prompted the Americans to support a war in Iraq. Assange would not have had footage of American soldiers murdering Iraqis if the Americans were not there in the first place.

Ironic that, while Yankists rant about freedom as if they invented the idea, now, through the Assange fiasco, their governance system is lumbered with having jeopardised press freedom and smearing the presumed sanctity and protections of their Constitution's 1st Amendment.

In this, Yankists acted no differently than China's CCP with its security laws.

Dunno what restrictions the Government can bung on him...he will be a free man having done his time.

Given he has now admitted to espionage, let's see if he's now considered a terrorist by the Australian government.

He was forced to admit espionage, to assuage the guilt of those exposed  for conducting US war crimes, and to have any chance of ever returning home.

Why is he landing in Canberra?

I guess because it's our capital city, and half a dozen politicians - from Canberra - helped to get him home.

Would be weird if he landed in Adelaide   Undecided

Why would Albanese ring Assange, and more stupidly, make it public that he did?

Its the same everywhere.   In Australia, we jailed David McBride for exposing war crimes in Afghanistan.  And Witness K was convicted for exposing spying against the East Timor, in order to gain financial advantage for private companies like Woodside.
