I was using them to cover the windows of the southside of my home. The blankets I had available could only do so much coverage. Winter is over here. It is now spring.

Next week, plus 2 ornamental trees (Jap maple, Golden Ash) and four plums: Damson, Greengage, Robe de Sargent and Angelina.

Need to do some measuring then drag out some lengths of thick hardwood and create a raised bed, fill it with azalea potting soil and pine bark and plant my five blueberries. Or use big pots.

Gonna be good!

Break it into small tasks, keep deadlines (arrival of spring, last spring frost etc) in mind and do the small tasks with a break in between each. Work out what you need—lime, fertiliser, mulch etc etc—and buy in advance. So much easier and satisfying when what you need is at hand. In Tassie and WA—keep all invoices for plants and seeds bought and striking cuttings documented incl photos.

Can buy irrigation controllers to do the watering.

Yes, it takes a lot of planning, timing has to be right, weather right, soil right, humidity right, pH right, fertiliser right, seeds right.

Not much can be wrong.

I have all the gardening tools I need under the house. My grandparents left them for me to use. Even last night, I was caught up in trying to fix my computer that I STILL did not go and water the garden. Does not matter, though. I can water the garden before I go to work tonight.

Not much can be wrong.

It has to be dry, and in the afternoon for me to water the yard, let alone the garden. At 5pm, the temperature is cool enough for me to throw a couple of buckets over the garden.
