Good point about the pH of the water. Could use malt vinegar I guess to acidify the water in the watering can. Will buy a pH meter and will keep a close eye on soil pH.

Tassie climate is ideal for berries and malus sp.

Next year be good: veges, some apples/pears/peaches/cherries.
