Qatar is everyone's bitch in the region and beyond - for the Sunni states, Israel and the US.

Acting as the intermediary between Hamas and the rest, it allows for all parties to deal with Hamas and Iran without the risk of dealing with Islamists directly.

For the Sunni states to succeed in their shared goal with Israel of ending Gaza, they cannot be seen to be actively doing so and risking populist Islamist uprisings in their territories, like the one Egypt suffered after the Arab Spring.

Of course Qatar has not initiated hostilities against Israel - the Qatari regime has its security guaranteed by the regional powers to act as their bitch, including laundering their wealth throughout the world ... and nothing else.

Israeli Jews are exterminating Zionism and committing genocide against Judaism.

Israel will become the figurative pork chop at a bar mitzvah.

The real Jewish homeland is New York.

Islamism is the term used for extremist Islam - similar to, but more violently extreme in its practice, than fundamentalist Christianity. The closest Christian approximation would be 12th-century Crusaders or 16th-century Spanish Conquistadors.
