⚡️ The capture of Pokrovsk by Russian troops changed the course of the conflict, as it demonstrated a new method for storming the city, according to the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2025/12/06/pokrovsk-the-city-that-changed-the-war-ukraine/).

🟠Russian fighters infiltrated the city in small groups under cover of fog, remaining undetected by Ukrainian drones.

🟠"Military strategists in both Ukraine and NATO will have to adapt to a new style of urban warfare, where—like termites—advancing forces consume defenders from within," the newspaper writes.

🟠Combat methods have changed: a couple of years ago, Krasnoarmeysk would have been stormed by columns of vehicles, but now this is impossible due to the presence of drones.

🟠"First, a Russian reconnaissance drone identifies gaps in Ukraine's defenses on the front line, after which troops advance in groups of three to five, meaning that the front line becomes blurred," says Finnish analyst Kastehjelmi.

🟠The Ukrainian Armed Forces also complain that they don't have enough personnel to fully control the front line.
