If that's what Trump plans on doing, I'd be asking at the very least what is the US getting in return.

If they're doing that for nothing, then I think we need a few extra chapters added to the Art of the Deal... Or at the very least a disclaimer on the cover warning people to ignore the bullshit within.

If Putin Russia make peace with Ukraine/Europe.
It will be the last betrayal against China after it pushed Communism onto China, then forfeited Communism itself.
The Wrath of China will be swift.

Either way it loses. But that's Russia's doom.

So Trump is revealing himself to be a failure as far as achieving an end to wars is concerned.

And today I heard an US commentator referring to Trump as a dictator who wants to prove he can ignore the law eg the Harvard uni case.

So - back to the drawing board: nations will have to reform the UNSC if a rules- based system is to "save mankind from the scourge of war" - the post WW2 vision.

Meanwhile I heard thuggish (UK sanctioned) WB settlers engaged in forcing Palestinians out of their villages, gloating in the fact the IDF "can kill a hundred Palestinians everyday without the world lifting a finger"; hence they are confident they are well on the way to reconquest of what they term 'Samaria' - part of the "Promised Land" mythologized in a book (the OT) which Marcian, an early writer of the evolving NT, rejected 2000 years ago.

And Trump is proving to be the ultimate disappointment.
