Grandkids are just the greatest thing, aren’t they Sprint! I was away for so many years during our Children’s progress and I missed a lot of them growing up and just being with them. I have 6 girls and 1 boy as Grandies now - ranging in age from 5 to 11 and my youngest Son has just informed us that another is on the way. I am finally realising my loss at missing my Children growing up, but making up for that through my Grand Kids

It is indeed a special role in life to be a Grandparent. Congratulations to you

I was one of the lucky ones. I was working from home up until my youngest was in third class so I never missed anything in their early years. I'm so glad I can say that.
Having said that my current business I'm away 10 to 12 hrs a day so making up for lost time in the absence department. The good thing is that the kids have the run of the place so they spend a lot of time at my place of work anyway. Gotta take advantage of the free labour while I can. Cheesy
