Consider it left there, Mother. What we say in the room stays in the room, no?
What's uncanny with all this is the Supreme Court is actually debating whether it should be legal. Today, they peppered the lawyers with whatabout this and that. Let's just hold off on the big fella's case for a mo, they said. Whatabout a prez who asks a few harmless questions about an election. Should this be charged? What about a prez who just says we need to wait and see what happens? Should that?
There they were, stalling away, while the big fella's case ticks away in Washington. We can't rush this, they said. This will have far-reaching consequences.
They're discussing whether a prez can be charged for discharging his duties as president. You know, inviting supporters to a rally in Washington and telling them to GO WILD. Calling the Georgia Secretary of State to ask him to find him 11,800 more votes, which is one more than what he needs. Organising fake electoral college delegates to appoint him prez.
At one point, the government's lawyer got frustrated. Why haven't we discussed this before? It's never happened before. For over 200 years, presidents have accepted the vote, but do you know?
The Supreme Court's curious. My guess is they'll have many more questions, all the way up until November. After the election, they'll remember.
Oh, that's right, they'll say. We have to decide on the big fella's case.
Ah yes, I remember. That was the one the federal court wrote an unequivocal finding that presidents can be charged for crimes, just like everybody else. No worries - go with that?
Affirmed.
All good, carry on.
It's almost as if he stacked the Supreme Court in anticipation of being indicted for his crimes.
Not that he would do that, of course.
I know, right? It's almost as if he discussed this with them in advance, no?
Art of the deal, innit. I imagine Bobby will praise him for such masterful tactics.
Just think, Bobby will say. If he can appoint a Supreme Court judge to let him off, imagine what he can do for America - and, as an extension, Australia.
Perhaps he can come over and commit crimes here. Perhaps he can get appointed prez to commit more crimes there. Imagine all the election fraud and corporate fraud, theft, rape and even murder he can do.
After all, as his lawyer says, Mr Trump can order the Navy Seals to take out Sleepy Joe. When you think about it, there's nothing the big fella shouldn't be allowed to do.
As Bobby says, he can do anything.
You?
