CCTV footage from a gas station shows a brief confrontation between the security guard and an armed civilian rapidly escalate into a deadly shooting. The incident reportedly took place at a Suncoco gas station in northern Philadelphia on April 9, 2024.


From the footage we can see a man attempting to enter the store, and for whatever reason, the security guard bars him front entry. The man pulls a pistol out of his pants, a low-IQ mistake that costs him his life.


The security guard quickly assesses the threat and shoots the man several times, dropping him in the doorway. More gun fire rings out after he falls. It is being reported that the security guard was shot in the leg during the incident, so each party may have shot.
