Why would Westfield pay?

If a few customers get killed, others will eventually replace them.

If a few retailers are killed, they'll just put up the rent and find another retailer.

Yes, I believe that's what Panther says every time there's a mass shooting in America. Buy more guns, he says.

Only in America's case, he's mistaken. There, if you're a male under 25, guns are more likely to kill you than cars.

Maybe he's factoring in climate change, I'm not sure.
