Weather chat

Just had a water spout come ashore across the lake and sweep by us, taking out the power for a minute or so.  Yeee-hah! Wondered what that burst of wind was....

Must have had ten inches of rain so far.... 120+ mm yesterday and got to be over 100 today.

Rain?

What's that?

Perth Forecast

Can't remember the last time I saw rain here.

At least the evenings and nights are much cooler now with the sun coming up much later and going down much earlier.

Wow, bad news

I've almost finished my drain in the back yard, hope it rains more.

They predicted massive rain for the SE corner of QLD yesterday but I could see on the BOM app that the biggest rain area was in NSW from Taree/Port Macquarie to Ulladullah and westwards. A massive area.

It was pissing down for all the NRL games at Newcastle and Accor stadium last night.

Stinking Bulldogs ...... and don't get me started about the BS refereeing and Bunker decisions.

That Newcastle match reminded me of playing on the Wests ground soaking wet and sliding yards after tackling an opposing player from behind so he scored anyway... dry and I had him... the turf is better at Macca Jones though... you could see the low patches ...

Referee decisions these days.... you could think there is bias towards some teams.... I thought that Newcastle bloke scored from the dive over and was surprised when I came back that it wasn't on the board...  Angry ... and I thought Penrith copped a bit.... and I hate Penrith... same with Melbourne in the first quarter... after their first score.
