Cheap prices are an illusion. They are cutting costs by cutting corners in manufacturing. The Chinese term for this is cha bu duo - If it looks good, it is good.

It doesn't matter if the whole thing runs at a loss, the CCP pours funds into the likes of companies like these until they collapse... then the CEO and executives go to jail for 'fraud'.
