my son in law is off to stradbroke next weekend to do a traditional hunt

they have to make the spears etc and then go hunt stingray and mud crabs

there is a lot to admire about aboriginal bushcraft , resilience, athletic prowess.

why the leftie education system seems to think that aborigines will have "arrived' when they all qualify from school and can work in an office cubicle for 40 hours a week is beyond me

if i was an aborigine in alice springs and they tried to do that to me. i'd have a problem.

just leave them be

stop treating them as your favourite victim group (the gazans are much more suited to that role) and just let them interact with tourists in a high vibration cheeky irreverant manner

let them charge a motza to take rich city folk barra fishing or croc hunting

let them run camps where spoilt white brats can go out in the bush without showers and learn to rough it

they dont want your fake compassion, they dont want to be judged as failures because they arent in uni or like to cook outside on a fire rather then a microwave

and they certainly dont want people who look scandinavian but "identify' as aborigines, going to canberra to advocate for them. these grifters should be ignored

they dont want the hate
but equally
they dont want the fake compassion from lefties who want to interfere in every aspect of their lives.

they are quite happy to live a simple life
they dont want family tax benefit b linked to vaccination
they dont want my gov apps on phones linked to their my health record
they dont want to sit in boring classrooms learning rubbish so that the education minister can get up and get a round of applause for closing the gap

they are generally shy people, they share with kin, they take a long time to open up to outsiders

FIFO public servants are just a silly concept to them
they dont want a voice

they want to enjoy nature, go walkabout and get some cash from tourists to pay for their tinnie and their outboard

your way of seeing the world is so foreign to an aborigine that you have nothing to offer him .

if eddies kids get forced to interact with the mainstream then thats a loss for them
that will stress them out

stressed out people are in emotional pain

they dull it with alcohol

just leave aborigines alone and go meet them where they are at

that might mean learning a bit of humility and having to put up with heat and mosquitoes but it would be good for you

It amazes me that you've said that because unless he goes over to Straddie in a dugout with traditional wooden spears - no steel barbs, no aluminium, including boats & outboards then he's not traditionally hunting.
