https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/state-apologises-to-stolen-generation-i...

"An historic apology has been offered to Victoria's stolen generation victims by Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan.

Ms Allan made the personal apology on behalf of the state government on Thursday in Melbourne's inner north.

The premier posted a picture online of the smoking ceremony after the event."

"Members of the stolen generations have never received an apology in person from the Victorian government. Until today," she wrote on Facebook.

"On behalf of successive Victorian governments and parliaments, I apologised to those children who were forcibly removed from their families.

Victorian Premier has made a private apology to members of the stolen generation.

"To the babies and children who grew up without knowing who they were. And the mums and dads who were left - sometimes for a lifetime - searching."

Former prime minister Kevin Rudd delivered an historic national apology to the stolen generation in February 2008 following the 1997 Bringing Them Home report.

Ms Allan said the state Labor government had been working with members of the Victoria's stolen generation since it came to office in 2014, and had listened to their voices.

"The apology is for that stolen generation," she told reporters in Shepparton on Friday.

"The attorney-general and I yesterday were joined by people in their 80s, people in their 50s who were part of that stolen generation who are still experiencing the grief and trauma of being torn away from their family at birth."

Opposition spokesman David Davis criticised the government for not inviting the media to cover the ceremony, declaring the apology should have been delivered in plain sight.

"Like many Victorians, I don't personally accept responsibility for things that have happened, indeed in many cases, before my family and perhaps your family were here," he said.

"But whatever statements we're going to make on behalf of the Victorian government should be done honestly and transparently."

In February, the Victorian parliament paused to hear Ms Allan offer a formal apology on behalf of the state to victims of historical abuse and neglect in institutional care.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton also made a series of mea culpas over the force's mistreatment of Indigenous people at the state's truth-telling inquiry in May.

Ms Allan said her government was guided by the lived experiences of stolen generation members when deciding to hold the apology behind closed doors.

"They absolutely deserve the respect to be able to determine the safe, appropriate way that that apology is delivered," the premier said.

The surprise state apology came a year on from the federal voice to parliament referendum suffering a resounding defeat.

Though Victoria recorded the highest 'yes' vote of any state at 45.85 per cent."

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/other/outrage-over-heartbreaking-mount-arapiles-c...

"Australian climbing association president Mike Tomkins has highlighted the impact of Parks Victoria's plans to impose sweeping rock climbing bans at the world-famous Mount Arapiles.

The Victorian government body has released a new management plan for Mount Arapiles, in western Victoria, with plans to close half of the climbing routes as well as the iconic Pines campground that, for decades, has been a hub for Australia’s climbing community.

Parks Victoria announced its plans to close Mount Arapiles climbing routes on the eve of Melbourne Cup Day, after a secretive study by Parks Victoria and the Barengi Gadjin Land Council determined it was a place “rich with cultural heritage” with thousands of Indigenous artifacts.

Mr Tomkins criticised the decision claiming it was causing a lot of “heartbreak” in the climbing community and the local town of Natimuk.

“Everyone's in a terrible state there because of all this. All caused by legislation, not by individual action,” Mr Tomkins told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Melbourne, lots of people go rock climbing it's become a very popular sport across Australia.

“Arapiles is the most precious location and tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of climbers all over the world, dream of coming here one day, and they've just crossed it off their list.”

Stuff the bureaucrats - who asked them?  What are these 'thousands of artefacts'?  Cast-off things broken and disused?  FFS .... midden heaps.

No Closures Without Representation....

They're taking the slopes
They're taking the cliffs
They're taking the climbs
From the people who LIVE there...

Bureaucrats don't go climbing over climbers
They feel your pitons in their back
We know you think that you have all the right
Just cut.... yourself some slack

You're eating the rights
That's all that's left
You're not even elects
Of the people who LIVE there...

Climbers like to climb it's for their health
Their wealth they bring as well
They don't care about your voice by stealth
They just wish your ass to hell

Stop eating the climbs
Stop eating the streams
Stop eating the rights
Of the people who CLIMB there...

Stop eating the lands
Stop eating the streams
Stop eating the rights
Of the people who LIVE there...

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/landmark-treaty-negotiations-between-fi...

"Landmark treaty negotiations between First Nations’ people and the Victorian government begin
For the first time, an Australian government will commence treaty negotiations with the First Peoples of Victoria, in what the premier has described as a chance to reset. The nation-leading process holds the promise of a genuine shift in relations that makes peace with a painful past, but there’s a long way to go."

Any points you'd like to raise - apart from 'states can't negotiate treaties - only agreements - and with something as divisive as this - only with full and informed consent of the people' ...

So let's leave 'treaty' out of it - that is a lie.  and they're First Invaders - not 'first nations' - they were never nations anyway.  Let's be historically correct and not hysterically incorrect.

55-45 was the vote for The Voice - now for the Voice By Stealth.  Once the sheila-ised 'government' has done its acts of betrayal to the majority - when and how will they put it to the people for approval or not?  If they're planning to give anything MORE away - they MUST go to the people.... or at the very least - the NEXT government must go to the people over this apartheid and division.

Oooooh - lookee here on ACA - closure of that mountain in Western Victoria.... protests in town and all that - shots of 'ancient trees' that have never been touched and 'art works' never touched - but hey - there's a spot where 'stone tools' might have been made - highly sacred!!

Climbers provide 45% of the town's income.  Doctors are leaving - no work ... time to declare independence.. secede from Victoria ...

No consultation, of course.... flick the people!!  VicLabor will show them who's boss!!

Now that treaty business....

https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Senate/Legal_and_Consti...

"Only the Commonwealth Government has international legal personality, and therefore only the Commonwealth Government has the power to enter into treaties. "  It therefore follows that no treaty can be entered into with Australian citizens; that no state can even consider doing so; and if such a thing occurs, those designated in that treaty will become non-Australians and lose all rights of citizenship.

Melbadishu (capital of Some Aliens) will fall... and all this division nonsense - this Apartheid and Supremacism will be thrown out.

Abbo sex offender on the run -
bring back 19th century British justice.

Aboriginal sex offender on the run in Melbourne – huge search launched.

...
Theo Briggs (Victoria Police)

December 1, 2024

The Noticer

A search is underway for an aboriginal registered sex offender who went on the run in Melbourne while under a supervision order.

Victoria Police on Sunday made an appeal for public assistance to help locate Theo Briggs, 32, who is believed to have tampered with an electronic monitoring device in St Kilda at about 6pm on Saturday.

“Briggs is described as Aboriginal, 179cm tall with a solid build, brown hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion,” police said

“He also has multiple tattoos including “GOO” on his right hand, a religious cross on his left wrist, a rose and “MUM” on his right wrist, “CLARKE” and “Live to fight” on his lower right forearm, and “Fight to live” on his right forearm.

“Briggs is known to frequent the Mooroopna, Shepparton and Beraii areas and has a large number of family members and associates in those locations.”

Investigators urged Briggs to come forward and make contact with police himself as soon as possible, and warned anyone harbouring or assisting him that they could potentially face criminal prosecution.

Police said a warrant for his arrest would be applied for on Monday for contravention on the supervision order.

Anyone who spots him is urged to call Triple-Zero immediately.
