This is an extraordinary bit of spin. It is based on the fact that China and Taiwan were one country back in 1945, which is when the UN recognised this reality. As the CCP slaughtered its way across mainland China (after stepping back and letting their opposition do all the fighting against the Japanese in WWII), the old government retreated to Taiwan in 1949, and they have been separate countries ever since. Somehow the little pinks have convinced themselves that because the UN acknowledged the reality that the Taiwanese government also controlled mainland China in 1945, this means the UN really acknowledges that the CCP owns Taiwan. By the same logic, the CCP owns the entire Mongolian Empire (once they find the paperwork).
