The point is simple: saying that something is a social construct does not invalidate ANYTHING. Science itself is a social construct.

I understand that you see yourself as an 'anti-racist'. Fine. But anti-racism is not any less a social construct than racism. So your reasons - no scientific basis- is pointless insofar as it is asserted exactly on the.same kind of socially constructed basis as racism.

The human genome project is not the only basis for the recognition of evident racial differences.

There are obvious differences between, say, people of Norway and people of Ghana. Just because they do not show up in DNA does NOT mean that Norwegians and Ghanaians are indistinguishable. They are very different elen as they could donate blood to each other. DNA doesn't much matter - the differences are instantly, readily perceived by everyone. No need for anyone DNA test.
Culture is not in the DNA yet it is central to interpersonal relations. DNA isn't.
