The car is actually a Bailey Electric from 1910, not the 1920s as stated.

And if it did 100 miles on a charge It was doing well, batteries were the problem, and still are.
The introduction of the electric self starter signalled the end of other than internal combustion engines, as it made the petrol car as fast to start as an electric and no charging periods.
