Truth Telling - An Interesting Perspective
Feb 24th, 2024 at 3:15pm

I found this an interesting read:

"Nearly five months after Australians rejected the Indigenous Voice referendum, the Government is looking for ways to implement other aspects of the Uluru Statement.

Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney says she is in active discussions with cabinet to develop a model for a ‘Truth-Telling’ process, flagging that it could be included in the school curriculum.

As you read on, bear that in mind — what she has planned is designed to control what our school children think about Australia.

So, what does Linda Burney mean by ‘Truth-Telling’?

She says that “understanding of Australia’s colonial history and its modern-day impacts, the Truth-Telling process would help reveal the full extent of injustice felt by First Nations people”.

But we need to understand the deception being played on us here and how little ‘colonial history’ will be covered by this ‘Truth-Telling’ process.

Let’s start by asking: what does this expression ‘Truth-Telling’ really mean? Here is the definition from the ultimate authority on word meaning and word usage — the Oxford English Dictionary.

Those great lexicographers say ‘Truth-Telling’ means: “Recognition or acknowledgement of historical injustices affecting Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people following the colonisation of Australia and re-evaluation of the impact of the discrimination and often violent treatment they have faced since that time.” (They cite an academic article from 1988 as the source of the expression.)

Read that Oxford definition again. Read it slowly. Absorb what those words are saying.

That definition exposes the fact that ‘Truth-Telling’ is not about telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It’s about limiting the truth, censoring the truth and only telling one part of the truth.

The way this will work is made clear in an example used by Burney. She said the Government is still “thinking very carefully” but cited local community efforts to understand the Myall Creek massacre.

During that incident in 1838, at least 28 unarmed Indigenous Australians from the Wirrayaraay group were killed by a group of stockmen.

Descendants of the perpetrators, and of those killed, gather annually at the Myall Creek Memorial to recall the massacre in an act of reconciliation Burney described as “quite beautiful”. But Linda Burney distorts the real truth (the full truth) by leaving out the second half of the story.

The Myall Creek massacre happened just as she said — but then the perpetrators were arrested by white policemen, put on trial before a white judge, prosecuted by white lawyers, found guilty by a white jury and hanged from the neck until they were dead by a white hangman.

And why did that happen?

Because the Indigenous victims were legally British subjects. That’s the full truth.

That’s what Burney doesn’t want you to know — and that is what will be censored and suppressed under the dishonest, deceptive and misleading title of ‘Truth-Telling’.

What she has in mind is not ‘Truth-Telling’ — it is lying by omission.

Words matter and this dishonest, untruthful, use of words about a blinkered view of our history matters enormously. Burney says she wants to tell the truth about our “colonial history”. Well, the truth is that when this place became a British colony, everyone came under the rule of law. Everyone, regardless of race, became a British subject.

To leave out that fact is lying by mission.

We all know from our own experience that one way to twist the truth is to leave out some of the story. We’ve probably all done it on occasions.

Everything we say is perfectly true and honest — it’s just that there are other facts that we have left out that significantly change the picture.

That’s why the oath administered in a court of law is to give “the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth”. Leaving out ‘the whole truth’ is lying by omission.

Will Australian history be taught in our schools by an official policy of Lying-By-Omission?

Worse than that, is the name of this process designed to dishonestly deceive the Australian people?

We see the expression ‘Truth-Telling’ and we are not alarmed. We should be.

Because under that innocent looking banner of ‘Truth-Telling’ what will really happen is Lying-By-Omission.

We should all be alarmed. Very alarmed.

Kel Richard is right.
There is a lot of lying by omission  and embellishment about Aborigines as well as other 'multicultural people'.

Yes -but Burney is part of the Aboriginal Aristocracy created by giving freely of the white man's benefits - not least is sitting in Parliament on an overfat Minister's salary and looking forward to one of the fattest retirements in the land while most can't even own a home any more - and being a Labor apparatchik, she is as close to Fascist as can possibly be while claiming to be under a sweet, understanding, Left banner.

Northern Hemisphere Politics, through-out history, has rarely been 'for the people' at large. More for 'the people' in the Establishment, realm of Politics directly.
Albanese is trying to do the same here.
Regardless of what the 'People at large' have to say.
The 'People of Politics' have the last say.

Shouldn't Albanese be arrested by now?

Yes - he is a traitor to the people, and enemy of the Australian state, and a proto-Nazi masquerading as a sweet, soft, trendy leftie.. they ALL do until they get their hands on The Power and then it's game on... and EVERY game has the end of reducing the people under despotism of a self-appointed 'educated' elite.

Those kinds are primarily Mindful Primitives - while they actually know the difference between their claimed reality and Reality, they persist with their claimed reality as if there is nothing else on Earth - and they do this regardless of the often frightful cost to others.

Can't you just envisage Plebeian Sex holding little children by the hand and getting them to sing as they march into the gas chamber of single parent family on the ropes constantly and wondering where their next feed is coming from or if they will have a roof over their heads tomorrow and won't be marched off to the Konzentrationslageren now called Tent Cities, where they can live in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, be despised by those outside the Neo-ghetto walls, and be treated as second class or third class or even non-citizens and given a bowl of grass soup once a day.....???

"Last night I had a dream.. I dreamt I was living on a house sized block - a small block - with a hundred strangers and using a single park toilet with no showers .... then I woke up and I was living on a small house sized block with a hundred strangers, one toilet and no showers......and there were similar blocks right next door ..."

"That is not funny, Yacob."

"It's maybe a little bit funny..."

Soon there will be a need for community shower trucks to come in to allow them all a hot shower...... damn your eyes, you political and public service parasites.... these are MY people ... to hell with you!!  A revolution is a terrible thing - and I think it is time we had one!!

Here is the house clearing for the landlords to raise rents:-

One of the issues I've witnessed during my reasonably lengthy
lifetime is to note that the more democratic a country (like Australia?)
is claimed to be, the less democracy the citizenry actually enjoy.

Australians have virtually no effective input/influence/control over
what the Federal and/or State governments feel like doing on the day.

And why was there no plebiscite appended to the ballot papers for the
last Federal election in relation to "The Voice"?    Would've saved the
taxpayers an estimated $450m cost for the absurd referendum.

The Democratic state grows into an Administrative, bureaucratic state.

The Western response to covid was a richly illustrative examples of this. Democratically elected and therefore replaceable politicians deferred completely to bureaucrats, experts and functionaries.

Totally random and idiotic rules were introduced and enforced, any resistance suppressed and punished. But even without an epidemic the surveillance and over- administration of the population is clear and growing.

The only perspective.....

Why do I mention the 'Appin Massacre' so many times?  A group of fourteen Aboriginal men with women and kids in tow MURDERED sixteen Whites including women and children - all defenceless and out-numbered and in a series of dedicated offences.  A party of troops, police and Militia with a Second Amendment Right tracked them down and cornered them, then called on them to surrender.  They chose to fight and all the men were killed - all fourteen of them - some by leaping off a cliff to avoid capture* ... and all the women and children who took no part in the fighting were taken under protection and removed for their own safety, so their descendants could cry about being 'stolen'....

How would YOU expect a gang of fourteen gangstah Lebos who killed sixteen innocents they didn't even know to be treated?

Justice was served - quickly and fairly - no wrong was done - this was no 'massacre' of innocents... it was rightful punishment of cowardly murderers who deserved it as much as Hamas deserve what they are getting.

LIEtelling masquerading as Truthtelling says they were innocents massacred just for being Black.... FFS ...

*  Jumpin' Jacky Black - it's a gas!  Personal sovereign choice.... fight, jump or be hanged later.... Rob Roy's:- "Which would ye prefer?  To die now with a belly full of good stolen beef, or to die shittin' and pissin' on His Lordship's gallows?"

Remember - you Western Whities cast the first stone (bullet).
Anything after is justified by the Coons.

Not at all - they shook hands and said:- "G'day, mate - we've come ta colonise yah!"

The Blecks who had spent millennia (they say) killing one another off tried the same thing and failed... now look at the bastards - fattened, warm and comfy, cool in air con in summer, boats and cars, free money, flannel shirts and Akubras to stick the Aboriginal tricolours on and make a mockery of Whartey and his pharken hats, boots to battle through the bindi-is backwards to Bourke, and breeding like flies with no natural population limiters, and all on the finest Macca's while elevating the crime rates to ever greater heights.

Coons have been existing here for 100,00 years.
Them killing themselves hasn't really succeeded for them.
White Europe has only existed for 6,000 years of permanency and they've been killing themselves in vastly much larger amounts than the Boongs.

Is this what you mean? or was it 10,000 with the comma wrong ?

When you say Coons are you referring to Mr Edward Coon's cheese ?
