It is indisputable and is not disputed that Israel financed and allowed the emergence of Hamas.

Well, Putin sees Ukraine as part of Russia, and Hamas sees Israel as part of Palestine.

Europe stands  against both views;  but in the case of Palestine, the EU (unlike Netanyahu) recognizes the justice of a Palestinian state, even though the UN partition plan for Palestine was contested by the Arabs (UN in 1947: "we have a plan, because some people who claim they owned the land 3000 years ago are now in need of a home...").

Palestine HAMAS

Hamas is a reaction to the creation of a long-dead state (Israel) in Palestine, on zionist ideological grounds.

Which is why Hamas was born in 1987, after the failure of the Camp David accords - and the failure to implement UN res 242 (already 20 years old at that time), on the grounds that Israel's security can't be guaranteed if a Palestinian state is created.

PM Rabin's murderer (a fundamentalist Jew)  emphatically made that point...and President Anwar Sadat similary fell to Egyption Islamist fundies (who were against Israel's ongoing occupation of Gaza and the WB, after Sadat signed a peace treaty with Israel.

ie Jewish occupation of Gaza and the WB during the failed Camp David (and later Oslo Accords) eventually created Hamas extremism, in 1987.

Solution: implementation of UN res 242, with security guaranteed by the UNSC, since the Palestinians aren't moving from Gaza or the WB.   

The only failure of anything offered to Palestine by the UN/Israel in the name of 'Peace' - has been Palestine itself.
"We'll give you many concessions, land, etc" (Israel/UN)
"We only want to kill and destroy you!" (Palestine)

Palestine never once came to the table with sincere attempts for negotiations, settlements and anything else - except to exhibit the purpose to kill Jews and destroy Israel.

...looks like its all just blown up in their faces and now they're the ones who are going to be destroyed.
Evil ends up that way.
