Not while the US keeps supporting Israel, while at the same time not directing it's UNSC veto power to implement UN res 242, in line with the policy of the other four permanent UNSC members.

But yes, it's significantly embarrassing for Israel, to be sanctioned by a European country. ....

Not in a trade and investment sense (as little Norway has done to Israel); the US dollar is the world's reserve currency (since WW2), and the US can sanction the whole world, backed by the Pentagon....

But indeed the US is seriously running the risk of losing global respect for US 'values', over its support for Israeli exceptionalism.
