I was amazed at the furore and media attention to this singer… too much I thought!
I did try and console myself to accept it…
After hearing how police had no problems with crowds, no one was arrested and everyone well behaved… I felt better about it.
Then I thought back to when I was young and with many others my age…felt obsessed about when the Beatles came to Australia! Total hysteria the old archive films show!
I also felt obsessed with The Monkees! Was in their fan club, and I still have a necklace with their guitar logo. I bought their sheet music at the time (I played music instrument) so I have that as vintage keepsake.
So in a way, if it makes the fans happy and uplifted… no harm done. I’m certain Taylor is a good person and knows she influences young ones… I hope so anyway… I’ve not really paid much attention to her.
