Hi FD.
Just a wondering curiosity.
Peccary's Board doesn't have a [Reply] button for me to activate on the Board (Music, TV, Entertainment) he Moderates.
He has me under 'permanent ban'. That's fine by me, he's the Moderator and the advantage of this is that it negates any 'accidental' posting I may make (via the bottom list) to breach that Ban.
Sort of a Prevention, better than Cure situation.
Recently I have had to ask for 3 members who have breached their Permanent Ban on the Extremism Exposed Board that I Moderate for, to be banned as is due to the Rules.
I know I've been banned once for such a breach. Lesson learned long ago. (I know I've been banned for even lesser things here, pending 'moods')
Do you think it would be better to have some sort of activation to 'prevent' accidental breaches (as they call it, but I know of one who purposely breached it and lied about it)?
This would carry over into not having to bother VIC, Setanta or even yourself to full-fill the Ban implementation as Gmods, Admin and of course, having to 'ban' someone - as you can see, the 'bitter'

responses by those who are banned.
Am just taking into account about a more 'positive' outcome as some have complained about my Moderation of 'banning' them. Just doing my job.
Do you think it would be better to have what Peccary has implemented in removing the [Reply] button factor regarding permanent Bans?
Or do you think it allows Mods to, upon a whim, prevent anyone from posting in the Boards they Moderate without thorough process, etc, etc.
Just curious as to why one Moderator has it on his Board - while others do not?
...this Topic probably belongs in FEEDBACK BOARD, but I know not everyone can post there - if that matters on this subject?
