Have you simply believed without question a politician's explanation for why his prattling on about historical trivia is so important? Or can you actually join the dots and make a rational argument?

Winston Peters is not just any politician, he is a politician of Maori descent who has spent 45 years as a politician - many of them a senior politician - and, before that, was a campaigner for Maori land rights.

His credentials within the Maori community are impeccable and Maori activist politicians in the NZ Parliament and those outside have no answer to him as he dismantles their demands and ridicules their stand and foot-stomping.

Unfortunately, NZ suffers from its own acute form of wokeism such that non-Maori Kiwi zoomers are more than happy to kowtow to any social 'justice' demands made of the country by these activists, (they make Albanese look like Hitler) - even if it drives the country into bankruptcy.
