Now…. There’s some advice here about which canned tomatoes to avoid, and which are recommended.

Tomatoes ain’t tomatoes with some of them!

I can’t locate the topic Monk and I were debating over RE: use of citric acid when making passata etc.

And now my next foodie venture … I scored some organic non sprayed quinces this local elder Chinese man grew on his trees…. 10 kg for $30
And I’ve made jam with 2 kgs so far!
Peeling the quinces got me almost lathered in a sweat! I’ve been at it for 3 hours peeling, grating, cooking.
Tomorrow I do more…
