Ah, memories of my youth (and many used tissues).

I met Delvine in a bottle shop when I was about 10 years old.

She did an in-store appearance across the road from my primary school.

Our teachers (male) let us go across the road to see her.

The bottle shop owners let us in.

Bizarre Shocked

Wow nice memory!

It was very strange.

15 ten-year-old boys in a bottle shop, ogling at a woman with breasts the size of our heads.

I could never understand how our teachers got away with it.

Far out! And those nude scenes were ahead of the times! It seemed more acceptable and then all that censorship happened!

I'll never forget that scene from Number 96, with Joe Hasham.

"I thought you knew, I'm ... I'm a homosexual".

Way ahead of its time that show!

Oooh that’s a difficult one…. Okay Starsky and Hutch which is why my son and his former partner called their dog which became my dog…Hutchy

One of them just recently passed too.
My son’s mil used to work in the entertainment industry and has a lot of large posters that are signed, Starky and Hutch is one such signed poster.

I see Baby John Burgess every second or third day.

He shops at my Woolworths.

Funnily enough, so does Lionel York.

Two of the most famous Australian DJs ever, and they live in Vic Park now.

Speaking of game shows…. The Price is Right with Larry Emdur.
My friend and her sister asked me to accompany them to go into see the show in Melbourne.
Us 3 gals went in.
And what happens is all the audience were individually interviewed!

Anyway while we were seated and the show is rolling… it’s “Come on down …… …….!”
My friend was called … she was eating a tuna sandwich… heard her name and bent down to spit it out into a tissue!
Then went down to be a contestant, she won a substantial amount of prizes!
I do have it on recording on a video cassette tape somewhere!
And of course her sister and I were in it too as we yell what to put in order!
Gosh… my first baby was less than a year old… so that show was 1982!
What a hoot it all was!

I wasn't allowed to watch No 96. I remember Abigail show her tits and I never got to see them and everyone was talking about them the next day. Sad.
