There are probably over 500 million guns owned privately in America. That is about 120 guns per 100 people.

The question or the danger is how many millions of guns are in the hands of people who should never be allowed to have a gun ? Not how many guns but how many million guns ?

Schools getting shot up isn't a question it is how many and how often that is the unknown.

Rockhampton can be a bit like that. We might have 3 murders per year. I bet police have come across some bodies that have lay dead in open fields for an hour before someone called the police. Keyra Steinhardt lay for 10 minutes after Fraser had knocked her down, raped her and then put the body in the boot of his car before witnesses phoned the police.

It all depends on the type of people living there. I went for a walk last night, and walked pass a bunch of people you don't want living in your street. Some nights, I have seen riots of people fighting and drunken brawls in my own suburb. I bet Chicago has many suburbs where people don't want to get involved.
