Will America recover or not.

The 2020 election was rigged. Biden/Harris is not an expression of American will, it is an expression of the machine politics backed by big tech and the media, both blatantly partisan with a Pelosi-like viciousness. The point of a functioning democracy is that people accept the result of fair elections. That has been lost in America. The Dems and Hillary never accepted her defeat, nor did Trump his.

Is there an end to this total distrust of the electoral and media system? Will both sides accept the result, whatever it may be, in 2024? Can the American political system self-correct to restore integrity to its elections?

I am not hopeful. Not when not even simple and obvious things are agreed on - what is a woman, marriage, what is hate speech and where universities and publishers have trigger warnings about ideas.
