Setting up email
Dec 1st, 2023 at 6:12pm

How can I set up an email account if I can't receive a verification code, either by email or phone?

My internet provider got out of the email business and I'm left with no email address

Third party email providers require a code to be typed in, but I can't receive it

Tried Yahoo mail? Tried having the code sent to your mobile?

Protonmail is very good and I get a positive feeling from it, but neutronmail has no charge at all.

I no longer have a mobile number. Vodafone changed to a later "G" which left me unable to make or receive calls. No reception here anyway, I make use of only land line now

Never heard of it, but I'll give it a try

I'll give anything a try, hoping that a code isn't required of course. That's the sticking point

What is this? 1982?

From time to time a wet substance, like water, is falling from above. If it happens when I am outside, I get wet. Is there some clever way for me to protest myself from falling water while outdoors?

Yes = It is worth noting that if you set up 2 email addresses you can use each to manage the other.

On Email I believe that Outlook no longer supports multiple generic mail accounts. I am ok at the moment but I cannot re setup my current accounts.

Thinking is that Office may not be worth keeping going forward if the major component in terms of my use is no longer functional as a generic mail client.

Gmail is good.

I have never provided a phone number to get an email address. Usually you can get around that sort of thing if you persist.

Gmail required a code when I tried to set it up. You've got to have an active email address to receive a code

Protonmail is the one I'd like to use, but my bank automatically blocked the subscription payment

So if I can get that paid somehow, I'll be in business again

I pity beginners trying to set up for the first time
