Just got back from the supermarket at a shopping center.

An Asian guy employee was stacking the shelves and wasn't wearing a mask.
He coughed loudly & directly on to a whole bunch of canned food. Shocked

It's a good thing that I always wipe the tops of cans to clean them before opening them.   Embarrassed

That's pretty awful but unfortunately fairly typical these days.

We need to send aquascoot around there to give him a lecture about "personal responsibility".

In my opinion -
90% of the Covid wave of deaths were directly caused by
the disgusting unhygienic practices of irresponsible people.

Yes indeed.

And I'm sure Nick "Covid definitely isn't airborne" "Welcome to 2022 the year this pandemic ends" and other wrong predictions about Covid Coatsworth won't be happy.

covid has very little to do with it

to be mentally healthy and physically healthy you need

1  good sleep...hard with technology
2  an excellent diet ...76 % of foods sold at coles and woolworths are ultra processed
3  a great aerobic baseline...how many people can walk briskly up a set of stairs whilst having a conversation
4  a great partner...most people are not in a cherishing relationship
5  financial security ...most people have less then 1000 bucks in the bank
6  a friend group of loyal positice people...50 % of people say they struggle to name  3 people they could call in a crisis .
7  a meaninghul job you are passionate about ...how many look forward to monday morning

your average person is therefore.....

fat, broke, alone, hates their job, underslept, out of touch with nature and feels life happens TO them not FOR them

such people have run down immune systems and manifest covid
like attracts like
mother nature always attacks what is un natural

surely people undersand this (even if the continue down the path of the inferior man)

People are dying more from Stress than anything.
I blame the Media - a Horror Movie of nothing but Negative impact on their lives.

Still doesn't sound like a "mild respiratory virus" to me?

Every COVID Infection Increases Your Risk of Long COVID, Study Warns

Quote:
Vaccines ensure bouts of COVID are far less deadly than they were at the pandemic's start, yet multiple studies now suggest even seemingly mild cases of the coronavirus have a cost. With every single infection, our risk of long COVID increases.

While this risk starts (relatively) low for most of us, particularly those vaccinated and in younger people or children, there are concerning signs it may not stay low. If each new invasion of our bodies allows this insidious virus a greater chance to cause damage, such small risks will eventually add up to a big one.

Even if you only experience the symptom of the initial infection mildly.

"Each subsequent COVID infection will increase your risk of developing chronic health issues like diabetes, kidney disease, organ failure and even mental health problems," physician Rambod Rouhbakhsh warned journalist Sara Berg in an American Medical Association podcast earlier this year.

"This dispels the myth that repeated brushes with the virus are mild and you don't have to worry about it. It is akin to playing Russian roulette."

Yes, I still have that bit of 'wheeziness' in my breathing usually first thing in the morning after I had Covid for the first time 3 and a half months ago.

And, yes - I am making sure that I keep accurate records of this in case it doesn't clear up or it gets worse.

My 93 year old aunt is fine though (we caught it at about the same time). Mind you, she was on antivirals for 5 days but I wasn't eligible (4 years short of eligibility age).
