...Masks don't work this recent study shows you're more likely to get covid if you wear a mask than if you don't.

If masks worked you would expect to see a massive reduction this study shows masks increase the risk of catching covid.

The covidiots never learn.

I don't agree with your assessment of the study, but I'm
about to hit the farter, so will respond later today.

Okay... The report does not unequivocally say, anywhere,
that one is "more likely" to get COVID if one wears a mask.
That's your interpretation, and it's not correct IMHO.

I note that you've selectively cited the report to suit
your claim, but ignored other parts of the report.

I can cherry pick too.    Wink

...Observational studies reporting on the relationship
between face mask use and risk of respiratory infections
should be interpreted cautiously, and more
randomized trials are needed.

...Our findings suggest that wearing a face mask
may be associated with an increased risk of
infection.

I provide the links there is only so much that can fit in one post.

They said their findings suggest masks increase the risk of catching covid over no mask.
Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

This might be difficult to comprehend for those who don't use their brains.I understand we have Boomers here and Dementia might be turning your brains into mush.

If Masks worked we would see a huge decrease with those who wore masks. There would not be any of this little to no difference or actual increased risk of infections said in reports

You also cited more Random Control trials are needed. There are 78 RCTs that say masks don't work how many more RCTs should we do until the covidiots get it through their heads masks don't work?  Wink

Masks don't work why are you ignoring the science with this?

Oh dear.

Are childish personal insults really the best you can
do to support your argument?    That's just so sad.

Can I ask you how old you are Baron, as I noticed
you didn't have the confidence to post it on your
profile.

It was actually quite amusing that your first cited
link didn't actually say what you thought it did LOL.
It may pay you to actually read the full report next
time, before making claims about what you thought
it said.

For anybody interested in the full Cochrane Library
trials report, you can check it out HERE.

Government says it’s time to roll up your sleeve for COVID jab number SIX

Following a massive decrease in net profits for biopharma conglomerates in 2023, pharmacists and GPs are rolling out yet another COVID booster shot.

TOTT News December 13, 2023

SIXTH SHOT ARRIVES

Just to add more lunacy as we close out 2023, new COVID booster shots are now available in Australia.

Yes, that’s right: As of Monday this week, pharmacies and GPs across Australia are being stocked with the latest mRNA technology to ‘fight back’ against the ‘latest variants’.

But.

From the esteemed Dr. David Berger again.

No, because masks upset business (see my signature) and the other two cost money (which business doesn't want to spend).

More Boomer obsession with demanding later generations sacrifice their quality of life for their sake.

The only cure to all of this is the eventual Boomers' removal from power and societal influence - which has already begun with more than half of Boomers in retirement.

It will take another ten years before Boomer influence is exhausted.

Yeah, because doing something as simple as wearing a mask (properly - no "dick noses" or "chin nappies") in crowded places is such a sacrifice to make for their "quality of life".

I wonder how much their "quality of life" is going to be affected when they eventually wake up and realise that it isn't just the "oldies" who are dying and being disabled by Covid - especially after multiple infections?

Quote:
The data from Statistics Canada suggests the incidence of Long Covid rises with each reinfection, going from around 14% in people who’ve had one infection to more than 37% in people who’ve had three. One can argue about sample sizes, data collection and other methodological issues, but the upwards trend should give people pause, especially people who’ve been arguing that Long Covid doesn’t represent a serious ongoing risk to the population.

SARS-CoV-2 has been shown to harm almost every organ and system in the body, causing clotting, inflammation and fibrosis, impairing biological functions ranging from the mitochondria to the pancreas.

Given this, it shouldn’t be surprising to learn that repeated infection is likely to lead to a cumulative risk of loss of function or some form of ongoing symptoms or impairment.

Yes, Mark.

With Australia having another massive Covid surge, instead of doing things like stupid Elvis impersonations how about doing something useful for once to earn your huge taxpayer funded salary?

Perhaps something like this?

"Singapore has reintroduced the mandatory use of masks in crowded places, particularly indoors.

"The dominant strain responsible for this uptick in cases has been identified as JN.1, a sublineage of BA.2.86.

Nah, can't have mandatory masks in Australia anymore... upsets business and the 'cookers' (bUt wHaT AbOuT mY fReEdUmB???) too much.
