Look. No-one takes Monk's blathering seriously beyond just being blathering (lies, hypocrisies, drunk dribblings) and all know that he has stuffed not just Cats & Critters into a personal Dictatorship as Mod, that he has stuffed his own PA Forum that hardly anyone else goes there besides John Smith and Mothra (which says a lot) - even Aussie couldn't wait to escape that boghole and turf Monk and that lot with total rejection.

Aussie on the other hand - is a case of 'we'll see how he goes' with Black Orchids former PA Forum?

Jas...you remind me of a former poster called Mellie.

Funny I thought you were Mellie.

My advice -
trick women into thinking they are making most of the choices
when in fact they make the small choices but you make the important ones  e.g.

SMALL:
What ice cream dear - plain or vanilla?
What cut for the onions - Asian or European?
Shall we go to the zoo or the beach?

LARGE:
I'll buy this model of car.

Yes, when considering sources of advice for dealing with females asking a poofter is not high on my list.

Prehistoric women hunted as often as men and were better suited for it, scientists say

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/archaeology/women-hunted-often-prehis...

Scientists are now suggesting that prehistoric women were superior hunters to men, but not due to physical prowess or strategic skills. According to the researchers, it all comes down to one simple factor: their incessant talking.

"We've long speculated about the hunting dynamics and gender roles of our ancient ancestors," explained Dr. Burt Hudson, lead researcher on the study. "But our findings indicate that prehistoric women were so adept at endless small-talk that animals, overwhelmed by the constant chatter, simply dropped dead out of sheer exhaustion."

The study, conducted over several years in various prehistoric sites, revealed compelling evidence. "We found ancient cave paintings that showed while men were busy grunting and pointing at things, the women subdued massive animals by using only their voices," Dr. Hudson elaborated. "Remarkably, it appears that unendurably endless stories without a point and constant questions — not pointy spears — are what slew the beasts."

Researchers discovered that a mass extinction led to a shortage of game, which caused the women to come back to the caves and talk to their husbands, forcing the husbands to flee the caves and invent farming.

Man Thoughtfully Responds To Wife’s Nine-Paragraph Text About Her Day With A Thumbs-Up Emoji

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — In what observers believe to be a significant step forward in the area of marital interaction, a local man thoughtfully responded to his wife's nine-paragraph text about her day with a thumbs-up emoji.

Rob Taylor patiently and thoroughly read through his wife Melissa's encyclopedic tome recounting every detail of her day and lovingly took a brief moment to reply with a heartfelt yellow thumbs-up to let her know how supportive he was.

"I wanted her to know how much I appreciated her text," Rob said. "I pride myself on being an attentive husband and catering to my wife's needs in the most tender and sensitive way possible. The thumbs-up should do it."

Though his wife had spent over an hour compiling draft after draft of what would eventually become the final version of her text message, Rob deftly determined the yellow thumbs-up emoji to be the perfect response. "She'll be so relieved to hear back from me," he said. "When your wife pours her heart out like that in such a vulnerable way, it's important to let her know you care."

Rob expressed confidence that the thumbs-up would be sufficient to serve as an effective reply to Melissa telling him about how wild the kids were during breakfast, the weird dream she had last night, her awkward phone call with her sister, her shock at how expensive mangos were at the grocery store, and the ugly look the Starbucks barista gave her at the drive-through.

At publishing time, Rob said his wife had not yet responded to his thumbs-up, though the tell-tale "..." displayed in their text conversation for the last 45 minutes was an indication that it would be coming soon.

Disciples Astonished As Jesus Calms Down Woman Simply By Saying 'Peace! Be Still!'

GALILEE — Word spread quickly of an unprecedented miracle after Jesus calmed down an angry woman simply by saying "Peace! Be still!"

The unbelievable incident occurred in the home of a local tax collector after the homeowner's wife angrily confronted her husband about a home improvement project that had not been completed, leading the carpenter from Nazareth to silence her with a few simple words.

"I've never seen anything like that in my life!" said one witness. "If I hadn't seen it for myself, I never would have believed that a woman could be calmed so easily. This could only be an act of God!"

Reports indicated a number of people fell on their faces and began to worship Jesus after his astounding feat. "I've seen him turn water into wine and give sight to the blind," said another witness, "but this goes far beyond those miracles."

"This is as clear evidence that he's God in the flesh as we've seen. I'm sold. I believe."

His disciples were just as wowed as the rest of the crowd. "He never ceases to amaze us," said Bartholomew. "Calming an angry woman by saying ‘Peace! Be still!' takes the cake when it comes to miraculous signs."

At publishing time, Jesus's disciples had reportedly been inundated with incoming requests from other men throughout the region of Judea asking for Jesus to come to their homes and calm their wives.

Many women take the first word the last word and 98.5% of those in between. The male is typically allowed 3 dispersed Yes's in the first 1,000 words and 1 yes in each following 1,000 words if he is still listening.

Mildly related to "women demand to have the last word"...
and I did not want to start a new topic
:

Saturday night gone, I was finishing up my restaurant shift at about 9:30 that night. Having just come back from leave after a month, I noticed that one of my co-workers, a 15 y.o. girl, had changed her look. She had changed her hair colour from the Nordic blonde look, to one that resembled her normal hair colour. She had also tied her hair up, in keeping with workplace health and safety regulations. I also noticed that she had started wearing her glasses again. She did come to work beforehand without them. And I saw that she would squint while reading customer orders. I had to admit that she looked rather stunning.

I said to her "I like the hair change. You look very professional".
She thanked me for the compliment and gave me a beaming smile.

My issue is if I had crossed some kind of moral line. Myself being 45 years old, should I have just not commented at all? Or have I done the right thing in encouraging her with her more mature change of appearance. I know that I have not broken any law. But, the reflection of what I said is just making me feel a little uncomfortable.
