Piper Laurie, three-time Oscar nominee and Twin Peaks actress, dies aged 91

Probably popped up on your facebook feed at the same time and you just had to write about it.

Interestingly not a name that comes to mind when
we talk about the latter-days "golden age" of Hollywood.

I was pleased (well, you know what I mean) to see that
she died of "old age", rather than the current trend of
far younger show business personalties to be dying of
illicit drug overdoses or alcoholism, suicide, or even
wounded egos.

   RIP.
