Your analysis is flawed from the start,
1. the Ottoman empire only existed from the 15th century on.
2. Islam only existed from the 7th century - and conquered the Levant from the Byzantines at that time (when Israel had long ceased to exist).
3. Christians mounted Crusades against Muslim-controlled Jerusalem in the Middle Ages, but Moslems reasserted control, in the end.
