Rejected about 5 partition plans in 70 years and have not shown any good will.
When given self government in Gaza they elected Hamas that wants to destroy Israel. Their devotees in the West are chanting 'from the river to the sea'and ''gas the Jews' every day.

At what point is it time to say, 'well, **** 'em"?

Of course, that's what I said: the UN lost control of its partition plan, and conflict has occured ever since.

Check the deviousness re UN res 242 (in 1967) ; the Western translation deliberately left out the article 'the' (in front of 'occupied territories'), so that endless disagreement would ensue between the parties.

That's because UN res 242 was stalled in the UNSC by Israel and its supporters; and Hamas was the reaction to this stalling.
