But the world is now seeing the unrestrained slaughter of civilians in Gaza...and the US Dems are splitting over the spectacle.

Netanyahu has inadvertently increased the international calls for the 2 state solution, the last thing he and his gruesome "Promised Land" ideologues want...

"Lands previously conquered by Muslim Arabs" is what you wanted to say but held yourself back in the last moment, silly parrot.

Israel was Jewish property since the Exodus from Egypt, shortly thereafter, though estimates vary on how long it took for Moses to work out he should've taken a LEFT toin at Albuqoique instead of a right... even after the Arabs invaded, many Jews remained and many remained to this day.... others were scattered to the four winds in the Diaspora, but Israel remained Jewish territory even when conquered.... they never surrendered their sovereignty and actually knew about the concept of sovereignty and always knew where their true home was .... and continued to go 'home' to Israel .... 'next year in Jerusalem' was a catchy-cry throughout the world when various historic celebrations took place, Passover, etc... Next Year In Israel!!

Finally that day came, and the Arabs in many cases chose to oppose the Jews taking back their property.... and lost.... now Israel has been returned to its rightful owners.... who also happen to be the majority there as well..... and nobody will take it away from them.

Soon there will be no HAMAS to celebrate..... happy martyrdom, turkeys....

In the 7th century AD.....that's why people refer to the ancestral lands of the Palestinians.

In fact Jews conquered the land from Canaanite tribes c.1300BC and within 200 years Israel had split, with the northern section soon to be swallowed by the Assyrian empire.

In fact Muslim Arabs have possessd the land for longer than Jews.

Roughtly correct so far, but as for sovereignty over the land, Jews lost it progressively to the Assyrians, Babylonians, and Persians, from c.800BC on.

Way to evade the point - they never surrendered that sovereignty...

Now - if you are prepared to accept that the People lost part of that progressively to invaders - REAL invaders - through sheer force - you must accept that our Aborigines lost theirs, mostly through sheer numbers.

If anyone is going to claim that Israel has no right to occupy Israel (sic), then they must also, on the same basis, say that Aborigines have no right to occupy Australia - in fact, even less right, since Israelis, including Arab Israelis, are the very vast majority in Israel, and Aborigines are but 4% of the population here.

Israelis have been GRANTED sovereignty by a majority of world governments of the time.... Aborigines have not, and cannot supplant what is now the vast majority at 96% and more, and has been for a very long time.

I thank all those Aborigine supporters who oppose Israel in this conflict for their input and acceptance of the position of Aborigines.

One down... Trendies Nil - Wiseones 1, top of the first quarter... we will take back that asylum, one brick at a time if necessary... and will throw the Ham-handeds out ...

Israel now exists, it is a Jewish state, it is far more developed than any of the countries around it. It is not going to be erased except by a colossal 7 October style pogrom by Islamic fanatics.

That's the reality. Muslims and lefties can carry on about free Palestine as much as they like but while Palestinians do not recognise Israel and give up the dream of erasing it there will not be a country for them unless Gaza is absorbed by Egypt and the West Bank by Jordan and those two countries reign in and control the Palestinians.

A hostile Palestinian state hellbent on destroying Israel is not an option. Looking at the Palestinians, their accepting the existence of Israel and giving up jihad against it is not an option they can contemplate as an option.

Fatah recognizes Israel, but Israel doesn't recognize a Palestinian state.
