Clearly he got his views from that movie.... I was once accused of that over Operation Market Garden, something I've studied deeply via various tracts etc for years - of course - the guy doing that was adamant that it was NOT Montie's idea, but Ike's (utter rubbish), and that the entire concept of throwing two divisions up a single long road with the German border just to the right was NOT fatally flawed from the outset - he even said that XXX Corps reached Eindhoven on the first day - which is totally untrue, and he based the failure entirely on the late arrival of a US Regiment at the Nijmegen bridge, even stating that the British armour was right up there far earlier than it actually was and was able to secure the rest of the city - utter nonsense. He may have had some small point about the late arrival of the US battalion from one Regiment AT the bridge proper, due to the perceived need to secure the right flank first against highly likely German counter-attacks.... and the consequences of that were severe - but he has no tactical or strategic sense.

Like dividie here - you simply cannot throw two armoured divisions up a two lane raised above polder highway and expect them to move like lightning.... nor can you say that Lawrence's promises and British sneakery caused all the problems for the Arabs... who have been slaughtering Jews for thousands of years - entire towns at a time.

You go, Israel!! Give 'em hell until they squeal!

Not by a long shot - this mooted ceasefire will allow HAMAS to rebuild, re-organise, and sneak back into some lost ground and start again. A ceasefire is only a ceasefire when ALL take an active part in ceasing fire.... in this case Israel will do so, and will only retaliate when fired upon - and that will cost the lives of young Israeli soldiers then and later.

But so what? Apparently every Israeli mother wants to send her son and daughter into harm's way and possibly death's way just to spite the Arabs.... including the Arab Israelis in the military there.

Here is a portion of the imbalance of Rights - the other way:-

Why is it wrong?

Already explained: Zionists started to emigrate to Palestine during the British mandate, with British connivance, BEFORE the European holocaust happened - impossible for ME countries to be "attempting to celebrate the European holocaust" before it happened. You might like to try another narrative, to see if it can fly....
