It's reserve fuel for the world's greatest computing machine... you see those long tanks under F/A-18s? They are not ordnance - they are the fuel needed to give the beast any range at all... heavy and take the place of real punch ... think of Hamas ... how many extra fighters could you get if those tanks were not required.....

High performance requires extra fuel.
