Two facts by which we know that the peak of SC25 has not yet been reached:

1. Solar magnetic field is increasing and we get fewer and fewer CGRs reaching our atmosphere

2. The polar filaments are still present—these disappear by solar cycle maximum


Some poor deluded fools started crying out that NASA/NOAA were predicting a severe GSM for SC26—unforunately they continued minimum figures for SC25 into the years of SC26. When you believe utter crap you need to grasp all straws.
