You're right Agness.
The perception of him being Gay probably stems from other Australians being the Errol Flynn type, like even Chris Hemsworth - all 'looks'. Peter Allen was Bi-sexual and also a looker for the women. Another perception of him being Gay was because Deborah is older than him (toy boy, etc). Being a Cabaret Dancer and more also added to this perception.
Hell, even Paul Hogan did a 'Gay' role in a movie.
Russell Crowe also did one, even though he's a Kiwi and is far less a 'pretty boy' persona.

I like Hugh. I wish him the best. But I think this divorce will end the magic ride he has had in life so far.
If he starts wrooting around, I doubt his career will go far with this as well.
Mr Nice Guy no more, just like Meg Ryan ruined her 'Nice Girl' image by getting with Crowe.

When I went to school of the 5 boys in the Drama group 4 were Gay and the other not sure.

When My Daughter was doing Drama again the majority of the Boys in the group were gay.

Of the kids who went into more advanced performance groups the numbers were similar.

Why is it that 99% of those who graduate into high profile roles are all Hetro when those who train for these positions are 90% gay ?

*I dont buy mags anymore buy picked one up today because of Hugh /Deborah story , the title was something about telling the truth- Well I WANTED to know - but having come to the end of the whole story it was nothing about nothing- no one referenced the gay thing so I believe it was nothing much about anything at all.

They just thought they better print something- rather than nothing at all- his current leading lady is nothing to look at -

George Clooney was labelled Gay in all the mags and Hollywood gossip programs because he was saying NO to all the gold diggers, all beautiful mind you and preferring the company of his pet pig. They all stopped, when he finally found his match - an Italian woman.

I would also say that the 'hope' Hugh is Gay is probably coming from all the male Gays in Hollywood who probably want a slice of him or for him to support their Gay rights, etc.
Hell, I did some Nursing, worked with heaps of Gays and I wasn't Gay. Though the cultural cliche and stereotype expectation for me to be Gay was always there. I never did 'conform' - naughty me. Wink

A lot of Celibate men and women are considered to be Gay. It's just the stupid Woke LGBetc agenda going around, that if you are not having sex with the opposite sex, then you 'must' be having sex with the same sex to be politically correct. It never occurs to the Woke Gay/Lesbian culture that Celibacy means 'no sex' period (!) and is a 'relationship with people as a whole'.

I'm betting Hugh is not Gay.
