smoking 41 % increase over the decade
diabetes 40 % increase over the decade
high blood pressure 21 % increase over the decade
chronic renal disease 180 % increase over the disease

all of these are dwarfed by the following

being in the lowest 25 % compared to the highest 25 % for physical fitness 500 % increase over a decade

now you can be fat and still reasonably fit but fitness (the ability to walk briskly upstairs whilst carrying on a conversation is a marker for top 25 %) is the best indicator of health BY A MILE

I can say from personal observational experience that people are getting fatter, compared to the 1980s. Male or female. Simply singling out one gender as getting, allegedly, fatter is suggestive that you have a problem with that gender.

I would suggest that you have a look around at the people in shopping centres or in public in general. I would say that the proportion of people who are overweight or obese has fallen since the 2000s. Still fatter than what we saw in the 1980s. But, probably fitter than what we saw in the 2000s.

I know of women who play hockey, soccer, basketball, waterskiing, cricket, rugby league. One of them happen to be my daughter who plays a number of sports. The number of women 18 years and above of age who are overweight or obese seem to be in declining numbers.

Dare I say it. I think women in Australia are getting fitter.
