Ha! That all depends on whether or not he wants to sleep on the sofa bed. For a few days.

An anecdote?

After I had each of my babies I found that I couldn’t lose my pregnancy weight easily (admittedly complicated emergency Caesarean sections don’t help as the surgical incisions do cut across your muscle walls) so I found myself still carrying around what looked like a swollen tummy. The fluid build up/swelling in my legs was bloody awful too. But oh my did my breasts look great. They were double the size lol. Anyway buying new clothes was dreadful as I struggled to relate to my new dimensions. I clearly needed reassurance from my hubby so of course I asked him if I looked ok in what I had tried on.

His answer was always : Lis please don’t ask me that. I don’t want to lie to you. And if I told you the truth you’d probably get upset.

My response was always : F@rrrrk off! YOU did this to me. 😂🤣

12 months later though the weight did come down (thank God) because of course I was super busy running around after kids and cleaning up after them 24/7.

Today? I don’t ask my hubby for his opinion regarding what I wear. Why? I couldn’t give a rats. Clean, comfortable, classic, contoured designs which look expensive but can be bought on a budget is what suits me. The End.
