Price is actually coming up with some good ideas to close the gap, because she is not blinded by Thorpe's anachronistic 'Blak Sovereignty' ideology.

eg, Price's idea of overnight school accommodation during the week for black kids has merit. to reduce truancy and ensure good meals for the kids (from more 'dysfunctional' families...). 

Not sure what  the bean-counters in Treasury would say, though....
