Australia 'Compromised' by National Bank Rule Closing Accounts for 'Speech Violations'
A new forthcoming rule by the National Australian Bank (NAB), expected to be implemented in November, would allow the bank to close customers' accounts for a wide range of speech-related offenses. A banking expert said it was an abuse of human rights and "antithetical to democratic values."
Posting this sort of rubbish twice doesn't make it any
more true—or relevant. Nor do large bold fonts LOL.
You're an American, and you have virtually no intimate
knowledge of exactly how the Australian banking industry's
security functions, moreover you have little idea of what
we expect from our financial institutions in the way of fair,
safe and unbiassed treatment for all sectors of our society.
Unlike the United States, harassment and/or vilification
of any/all individuals is illegal—initiated from or by any
means, including third parties such as banks.
To suggest that the NAB's actions are a curtailment
of free speech is truly ludicrous, and again illustrates
your ignorance of their intent.
I'm also guessing that—by the tone of your many similar
comments—you're a closet anarchist.
