Next one will be in 2029

Here’s my pic with my iPhone from last night.

I took other clearer photos with my digital zoom camera but need to download onto desk top computer.

If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.

Technically, the blue moon was 29 days ago, so that the month didn't end yesterday. They should be every two years or so, not in 2029 which is a rip-off.

What? Then what are they on about? It’s a blue full moon, so maybe it was a blue new moon 29 days ago?

'The "blue moon" reference is applied to the third full moon in a season with four full moons, thus correcting the timing of the last month of a season that would have otherwise been expected too early'. Your moon is not blue, it's yellow. It's full because it was full 28 days before.  People should have just ignored it then and waited for this one, but do they wait? No.

I have a Swarovski 10x42 bino which I pull out every time there's a full moon.

Thru the binos, looked no different than usual Smiley

The south pole has a dent in it, caused by neo-nazi drug addicts.

Lets see if this works from an SD card and desktop.

This photo actually had me thinking how odd it was that when I zoomed in, the clouds all disappeared and it was black surrounding the moon!
I zoomed out again and the clouds were still there.

the pics above taken about 7.30 pm
these next ones about 2 am
I guess with halloween the spookiness of the night moon suits as I was standing underneath the palm trees and the water droplets held in the fronds from the earlier rain dropped on my head and surprised me! Would'nt be halloween if it didnt spook me a little  Grin

Can I be a pain and put up tonight’s moon pic?
I don’t use a tripod because I get lazy so I hand held but leaning with elbows over the car bonnet to steady the camera.

Look at this close up! I reckon if I get a bigger zoom lens I will spot anomalies  Smiley

It's Spring. The new growth is spreading from the left which is green not blue.
