He refused as horse vehicles are here to stay. He was dead right.

Nor to mention milk bottles delivered by horse and cart in the early wee hours of morning!
I can still remember hearing the clippety clop….clippety clop …. the thinking of glass bottles being placed on front veranda.
And this was in an inner Melbourne suburb too!
Oh and yes to the back alley way where outside dunnies were, for can poop collection.

The history of toilets is a fascinating one yes?
