The most gruesome thing you've ever witnessed

What's the most gruesome, disturbing thing you've ever witnessed? Not videos you watched, but something you experienced?

I was in rush hour traffic one evening and came up on the aftermath of something getting run over by several vehicles. Blood and gore were smeared all over the freeway for nearly 100 feet.

Later I saw the story on the news; it, unfortunately, was a someONE, not something.

I'll never be able to unsee that.
