A trip to Cygnet
Jul 26th, 2023 at 5:21pm

Had a final order of fruit trees. . .yesterday I got an email they were ready to pick up. Normally these are posted or couriered to me or my agent. However, I thought it might be a nice drive, see some of Tasmania etc so arranged to pick them up.

Bit puzzling. I drove past fields with sheep, cows and horses busily eating grass. Quite a way south I drove past orchards and a tree—almond? cherry?—in full bloom! (On the way back I drove past the Puddleduck vineyard!)

Closer to Cygnet I drove past hillsides of trees full of yellow blossoms—nice thing to see.

After picking up the trees I walked the dog along the banks of the Huon River. While we perambulated a two masted yacht sailed slowly into the local yacht club area and picked up its mooring. It did NOT sled in.

Apart from that the place was just like Antarctica apart from no ice and kookaburras not penguins!

Latitude of London, UK: 51.5°N, latitude of Hobart, our most southerly capital: 43°S. Latitude of Launceston: 41°S, Latitude of Melbourne, Vic: 38°S.

Latitude of Anchorage, Alaska: 61°N

Oh—I saw absolutely no snow or ice! Not even on the top of Mt Wellington!

Some little twerp here drew a line in Google Earth and thinks it means something. When I pointed out that in terms of weather in Tassie it was meaningless he banned me from what is supposed to be the Environment board.

Do you and your loud-mouthed catfish now see that that line was meaningless? I don’t expect an apology: forum wreckers like you lie, troll and doxx and NEVER apologise for your crap!

I live over 5500Km from Antarctica!

LastNail got banned from here for a mere month for posting a photo of Mum and myself. Booby did not get banned yet he gave Nails that photo.

A few other scumbags here got that photo too—Bobby is an equal opportunity doxxer.
