Excellent. The name 'Canberra' carries on a tradition in the USN dating from WWII. After the Battle of Savo island, where the cruisers USS Quincy, USS Astoria, USS  Vincennes and HMAS Canberra were sunk, the USN named one of their new cruisers in honour of HMAS Canberra. The only time a US warship has been named after a foreign warship.
