Journalist Stan Grant will make his return to the public arena moderating an expert panel trying to demystify the Indigenous voice to federal parliament.

Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney and lawyer and land rights activist Noel Pearson will address the Sydney Town Hall forum before the panel of experts, including prominent 'yes' campaigners, take audience questions on Wednesday night.

Grant, a trailblazer in his field, stepped away from his ABC commitments eight weeks ago citing the toll of racist abuse.

His return comes a day after both the 'yes' and 'no' camps revealed the arguments they will make to win voters to their respective sides in the coming referendum.

Australians will be asked whether they support an Indigenous advisory body being enshrined in the constitution.

The town hall audience will be able to quiz Kerry O'Brien and Thomas Mayo, who co-authored a handbook on the voice, as well as one of the nation's leading constitutional experts, Anne Twomey.

"Freshly" sprayed?  This image was captured 2½ years ago in News.com, February 2021.

I think he's just had a cut and polish?

Love to be in the audience.... asking a couple of questions....

"Ms Burney - if this voice is only an advisory thing - why do you constantly demand that it be given powers?"

"How exactly is this voice going to close any gaps, real or otherwise?"

"Mr Mayor - what exactly do you mean by saying you will 'punish' politicians who don't listen."

Grant returns to stage with fresh
spray-tan to sell the referendum grift.

Freshly sprayed race grifter, Stan Grant will make his return to the public arena fronting
a panel of the usual suspects and self proclaimed "experts" in an echo-chamber to
bolster the Voice grift.

Oppressed and disempowered Indigenous Minister Linda Burney and other
poor and oppressed part Aboriginals will address the Sydney Town hall forum before
the panel of grifters and fellow travelers in an attempt to bamboozle the voting public.

"Why do you all persist in placing simple recognition into a referendum about changing our constitution?"

Bet they pick a chosen audience and any questions will be vetted beforehand by sweet little girls, all smiles and dimples and sweet arse, from the ABC who collect them all and then go through them for the 'best outcome' ones, uttering - "Oh, but we don't have time for them all!"

Gordon?  Watcha reckon?  Con job from start to finish?

EVERY ONE OF THOSE QUESTIONS NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED FULLY AND SET IN STONE BEFORE WE PUT OUR HEADS IN YOUR NOOSE, AND EVEN THEN I'LL VOTE NO FOR SUCH UTTER STUPIDITY.

All these questions not getting answered are clear indications that the indigenous Voice to Parliament advocates don't want to answer. If you have ever spoken at length to these aboriginal supremacists, they will never tell you anything about their plans. They just expect to have an easy life from birth to death because of their indigenous background.

The most honest talk I have had with an aboriginal person was with one who had only gotten out of prison the week before. She was upfront about what she expected Australia to do for her people. But, she was respectful for the non-indigenous people's rights, too. Pity Burney and Mayor cannot be as honest or as polite as her.

Getting sick of you posting this video. Once is enough. Blair Cottrell is just a white nationalist that does not really help the cause of Australia.

Luke Costin and Paul Osborne.

Journalist Stan Grant will make his return to the public arena moderating an expert panel trying to demystify the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney and lawyer and land rights activist Noel Pearson will address the Sydney Town Hall forum before the panel of experts, including prominent ‘yes’ campaigners, take audience questions on Wednesday night.

Grant, a trailblazer in his field, stepped away from his ABC commitments eight weeks ago citing the toll of racist abuse.

His return comes a day after the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ camps revealed the arguments they will make to win voters to their respective sides in the coming referendum.

Australians will be asked whether they support an Indigenous advisory body being enshrined in the constitution.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said it was important for voters to see beyond the politics and think about the origin of the Voice.

“This comes from Indigenous Australians themselves – this doesn’t come from politicians, it hasn’t come from Canberra,” Mr Albanese told 2GB radio on Wednesday.

“We know that they said they don’t just want the symbolism of recognition, they want something that will make a practical difference to their lives.”

Mr Pearson told a described it at a forum in Sydney on Tuesday as “unfinished business”.

The town hall audience will also be able to quiz Kerry O’Brien and Thomas Mayo, who co-authored a handbook on the Voice, as well as one of the nation’s leading constitutional experts, Anne Twomey.

Professor Twomey said each panel member knew the proposal backwards and wanted to address any questions and concerns.

While she wasn’t aware of another country having a constitutionally enshrined advisory body for Indigenous people, each country’s constitution and political system differed, she said.

That made it unsurprising that there wasn’t an exact replica of the Australian proposal.

“The point of the Voice is that it’s Indigenous – in the sense that it is something that came from us to meet our own circumstances,” Professor Twomey said.

“Why would it look the same as some other body in another country?”
